About OSNord
Occupational science as a pathway to sustainable living in the Nordic region
The OSNord development project is a collaboration between universities in four Nordic countries which was established to facilitate occupational therapy education at the masters level in the Nordic countries.
The overall goal of OSNord is to increase and strengthen Nordic cooperation in occupational therapy (OT) and occupational science (OS) by establishing a Nordic knowledge hub on occupation, health and sustainability. Such collaboration also increases opportunities for students to attend courses on level EQF 7. The hub aims to provide a platform for interactive learning and knowledge creation through online tools, emphasizing these key areas. Joint online masters courses centered on occupational science perspectives have been developed in 2025 and the hub was established in 2026. The creation of this knowledge hub spanning the Nordic countries is unique, providing a platform for interactive learning by using online tools, focusing on occupation, health and sustainability.
We will offer 10 ECTS courses at master level, student exchange and faculty exchange. Each partner in OSNord has a responsibility to arrange one student-driven-team-based learning course and collaborate with other partners in the project in a digital learning environment.
This project has received funding from NordPlus.
